HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-864CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day of December , 1988. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasi;iou Ricker and Zitur The following members were absent: o.n it .�t+or S{Ati Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-864 AUTHORIZING TNS VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS IN OUTLOT A GROVES OFFICE PARK ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain drainage and utility easements in Groves Office Park Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for December 19, 1988 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of December 19, 1988 and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on December 19, 1988 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of certain drainage and utility easements in Groves Office Park Addition and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following drainage and utility easements be vacated: That part of Outlot A, Groves Office Park according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, being 6.00 feet in width and lying northerly and westerly and adjacent to the following described lines: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Outlot A; thence North 61°-07'- 01" west along the south line of said Outlot A, a distance of 100.00 feet; thence south 89°-58'-19" west, along the south line of said Outlot A a distance of 149.32 feet to the actual point of beginning; thence north 89°- 58'-19" east a distance of 149.32 feet; thence south 61°-07'-01" east a distance of 100.00 feet; thence north 00°-46'-27" west, a distance of 329.51 feet and there terminating. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by (:onnr11MCMbPr yir.,r , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor e^hneider Councilmembers Vasiliou Ricker and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: _ Non Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
