HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-831CITY OF PLY1r OM Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of November 1988. The following were present: Mayor Schneider Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk 7te following members were absent: None awt aaa Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: R13SOLLIPION N0.88-831 [ALUM FUR PUKjIC HFARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMERr DELDUAW NEW SPRIN (I+D- ; BAN VIOLATIONS WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on November 21, 1988 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for certain charges for the delinquent water sprinkling ban violations for parcels within the City as pmvided by law; and WHEREM, the Clerk has notified the Council thnt such proposed assessment has I een completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, 7MMiHM, BE IT MREBY RESMVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 7M CITY OF PLYNO M, Mnt*M=: 1. A public hearing shall be held on the 19th day of December, 1988 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, MirnwAa at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such charges will be given an opportunity to be hand with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed asst to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total amount of the assessment. The Clerk shall also care mailed notice to be given to the teener of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur- and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Wtisreupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. eat aa# a«*
