HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-814CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 21st day of November, 19±8 The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 88-814 APPROVING VARIANCE TO FIRE CODE STANDARDS TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION WITHOUT A FIRE LANE FOR PRIME WEST OFFICE BUILDING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF REVERE LANE AND 6TH AVENUE NORTH (88059) WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the Variance to Fire Code standards to allow construction without a fire lane for the Prime West office building requested by Prime West Development; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve a Variance to the Fire Code to permit construction of a structure at the northwest corner of Revere Lane and 6th Avenue North, per a Site Plan Administratively Approved, without a fire lane along Revere Lane. The basis for the Variance is because the building is totally sprinklered. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ma nr Srhnpider, Cnund1 mamhers Vasiliou. Ricker. Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
