Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _ regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of
November , 1988. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker_ 9it,ir anci cigk ,
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88- 796
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
A STREET EASEMENT
WATERFORD PARK PLAZA ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Ryan Construction Cnmpany has petitioned
the City Council for the vacation of the following street easement:
That part of the East 530 feet of the West 871 feet of the
Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 36, Township 118,
Range 22, lying North of the North line of State Trunk Highway
No. 55 described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said East 530 feet of the
West 871 feet, thence northerly along the West line thereof a
distance of 210 feet, thence Southeasterly to a point on the South
line of said East 530 feet of the West 871 feet which is 160 feet
easterly of said Southwest corner, thence westerly along the South
line of said East 530 feet of the West 871 feet to the point of
beginning and there terminating.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same
to be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of
December 5, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center,
3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said
petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said
hearing as provided by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Maynr SchnPidor_ rnnnnilmom�oro �gsilinU, Ricksar,
Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
