HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-762CITY OF PLYMOUTH 10 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of November , 1988. The following members were present: Major Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou , Ricker. Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-762 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF STREET EASEMENT WITHIN THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 11 TOWNSHIP 118 RANGE 22 DOCUMENT NO. 3226706 DEERWOOD TRAIL ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a street easement; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for Nov. 7, 1988 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of Nov. 7, 1988 and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on Nov. 7, 1988 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said street easement; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said street easements as described below is not needed for public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the street easement described as follows is hereby vacated: The east 19 1/2 feet of the south 1/2 of the northwest 1/4 of the southeast 1/4: and the east 19 1/2 feet of the north 1/2 of the southwest 1/4 of t"e southeast 1/4, and the east 19 1/2 feet of the north 19 1/2 feet of the south 1/2 of the southwest 1/4 of the southeast 1/4 and the north 19 1/2 feet of the south 1/2 of the southeast 1/4 of the southeast 1/4, all in Section 11-118-22 Hennepin County, Mn. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Co ncilmembers Vasilious, Ricker, Zitur and , Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
