Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. as
meeting of the City

Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88-757
AUTHORIZING CREATION OF A NEW YEAR XIII COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
PROGRAM ACTIVITY
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth for Year XIII has not used the entire amount of
its Community Development Block Grant funds allocated to assist in the
planning and development of the Downtown Senior Housing Site; and,
WHEREAS, on October 20, 1988 the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority
held a duly constituted public hearing to consider establishing an activity
which could utilize a portion of the available funds prior to December 31,
1988; and,
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth
discussed ways the Community Development Block Grant funds could be utilized
in accordance with the federal guidelines; and, considered the need for the
City to provide funds available to assist with the the physical improvement
and rehabilitation of the Union City Mission structures;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plymouth that it should and hereby does authorize creation of a new Year XIII
Community Development Block Grant Program activity as follows:
"Rehabilitati!�,n and Energy Conservation of Union City
Mission Buildings" $7.500.00
Further, the funds for this are to come from Activity #23908 (Planning and
Development of Elderly Housing Site).
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly second by
o and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: —

Whereupon the Resolution was declared
duly passe and adopted.
