HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-7550 CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 24th day of October , 1988. The following members were present: Mayor SchneJ er, ouncilmembers as ou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk `— The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk Introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-755 SCHEDULING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR SCOVILLE PRESS, INC., ON THE ISSUANCE OF APPROXIMATELY $3,600,000 OF REFUNDING INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS WHEREAS, the City Manager has been requested by representatives of Scoville Press, Inc. to redeem and refinance previously issued industrial development revenue bonds; and WHEREAS, the agreements previously entered into between the City and Scoville Press, Inc. with respect to these projects provide for such request to be made. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that a public hearing be scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday, November 7, 1988 upon the request of Scoville Press, Inc. on the issuance of approximately $3,600,000 of Refunding Industrial Development Revenue Bonds to refinance the industrial development project undertaken and financed pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 474 (now Chapter 469), by the City and Scoville Press, Inc. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
