Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 17th day of October . 1988.
The following members were present: Mayor Schne d- er, Councilmem�ers a� sI ou,
Ricker Zltur and Sisk
hi'following members were absent: None
Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88-735
RESOLUTION ADOPTING A POLICY RELATING TO SEMINAR AND CONFERENCE
ATTENDANCE BY BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of encouraging board and commission members to
attend out of state conference and seminars which are of benefit to the City by
virtue of the information they impart to board and commission members: and
WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the staff to prepare a policy which will
concurrently encourage conference attendance and prudent expenditures of the public
dollar;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
that it should and hereby does adopt a policy dated October 13, 1988 relating to
seminar and conference attendance by board and commission members.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted In a;or thereof:ayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou,
Ricker Zitur and Sisk

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
