The following members were present: Mayor Schneider. Couneilmembarig Vas 1 i o u - Rlekpr. . 7i r„r and cigk The following members were absent: NnnP Couneilmemh Ri kcr introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-694 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY FROM THE EXISTING 26TH AVENUE NORTH WEST TO STATE TRUNK HIGHWAY 55 WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, the Vision of Glory Lutheran Church has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following street right-of- way: That part of 26th Avenue North in the North half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin county, Minnesota described as folie)ws: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 118, Range 22; thence North 89 degrees 47 minutes 54 seconds West, assumed bearing, along the North line of said Northeast Quarter a distance of 1098.00 feet; thence South 0 degrees 12 minutes 06 seconds West 33.00 feet to the South line of 26th Avenue North and the point of beginning of that part of said 26th Avenue North to be described; thence North 0 degrees, 12 minutes 06 seconds East 3.00 feet; thence North 89 degrees 47 minutes 54 seconds West 296.33 feet; thence northwesterly along a tangential curve concave to the Northeast having a radius of 332.52 feet and a central angle of 24 degrees 31 minutes 21 seconds a distance of 142.34 feet to the North line of said Northeast Quarter; thence North 89 degrees 47 minutes 54 seconds West along said North line 250.17 feet to the northeasterly right- of-way of State Highway No. 55; thence southeasterly along said northeasterly right-of-way line to its intersection with the South line of said 26th Avenue North; thence South 89 degrees 47 minutes 54 seconds East to the point of beginning. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; Resolution No. 88- 694 Page Two NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of November 7, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmemter Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembera Vasiliou. , Ricker. Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
