HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-676tjp. t-14 CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of October , 1988. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-676 AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE DEVFLOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH SECOND RN',';TIL, A MINNESOTA LIMITED PARTNERSHIP WHEREAS, Development District No. 3 and Tax Increment Financing District 3-3 have been established by the City Council to provide the means for the undertaking of certain improvements to facilitate development of the property located in those districts; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Attorney have negotiated a development agreement with Second RNWNL, a Minnesota limited partnership, for the development of certain lands lying within Development District No. 3 and Tax Increment Financing District 3-3; and ` WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Attorney have reviewed the proposed development agreement with Second RNWNL, a Minnesota limited partnership, and recommend approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The City Council finds that the projects proposed in the development agreement are consistent with, and in furtherance of, the purposes for which the Districts were established and in the best interests of the City of Plymouth. 2. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the development agreement on behalf of the City and to take such other acts as are reasonably necessary to effectuate the terms of the agreement. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow ng voted In favor thereof: Mayor, chneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker. Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: done Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passea and adopted.
