Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rogntar meeting of the C'iry
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd day of
October , 1988. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk ,
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88- 672
REIMBURSING DEVELOPER FOR REQUIRED STREET CONSTRUCTION
SILVERTHORNE 3RD ADDITION (87009)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and Raynond L. Laurent and Jeanne A. Laurent
have entered into a development contract dated April 20, 1987 for the
development of Silverthorne 3rd Addition; and
WHEREAS, as part of this development the developer was required to construct
one half of Schmidt Lake Road (26 feet wide) through the Silverthorne
Additions in order to conform with the City of Plymouth's overall Thoroughfare
Guide Plan; and
WHERZAS, it is the policy of the City of Plymouth to reimburse developers for
the required street construction as provided for in the development contract;
and
WHEREAS, a partial reimbursement was made on March 7, 1988 in the amount of
$67,664.75 per Resolution No. 88-167; and
WHEREAS, the required street construction has been completed and the remaining
funs to be reimbursed are $16,308.91; and
WHEREAS, the total amount of the cc.istruction to be reimbursed is $83,973.66
of which $67,664.75 has been previously reimbursed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the developer, Raymond L. Laurent and Jeanne A.
Laurent, is to be reimbursed in the amount of $16,308.91 for required street
construction based on the alignment in the approved construction plans and in
accordance with Section 2.1b in the development contract.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funds be allocated from the Municipal State
Aid Fund.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Counci.lmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, ,
Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against o abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was a,_.:lared duly passed and adopted.
