HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-647CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reel] lar meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the ird day of October , 1988. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider, Councilmembera Vasil- Rieker, 2i ttir and Sink The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-647 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 2 AND FINAL 1988 SEAL COAT PROGRAM WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Allied Blacktop, Inc., Maple Grove, Minnesota as contractor, have entered into an agreement for the seal coating of certain streets, said agreement being dated July 1, 1988; and WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $99,174.04 change orders in the amount of $19,184.39 were approved and the value of the work to date is $118,358.43. 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for the 1988 Seal Coating Program and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 2 and Final in the amount of $5,917.92 to Allied Blacktop, Inc. for the Improvement is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith from Fund 101-172-810.13. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CeuneiImomhar 74r..r , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Srhnoidar- rni,nr•ilmemlherc Vacilion Ricker.
