Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of October,
19 88 The following members were present: mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION 88-612
APPROVING VARIANCES FROM THE SUBDIVISION CODE FOR DIVISION OF EXISTING UNPLATTED LOT
FOR CHARLES STEPHAN AND THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (88115)
WHEREAS, Charles Stephan and the City of Plymouth have requested approval of
variances from the Subdivision Code for division of existing unplatted land to
divide a 4,000 square foot parcel from an 8,125 square foot parcel and consolidate
the 4,000 square foot parcel with an existing 21,760 square foot parcel adjoining
located at the northwest corner of Ridgemont Avenue and Pineview Lane;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the division/consolidation of
parcels described as follows:
City of Plymouth
The south 80.00 feet of the east 272.22 feet of the Southeast Quarter of Section 34,
Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Charles Stephen
The north 80.00 feet of the South 160 feet of the East 272.22 feet of the Southeast
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin
County, Minnesota.
RESULTING IN PARCELS DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Parcel A:
The North 80.00 feet of the South 160.00 feet of the East 272.22 feet of the
Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 118, Range 22,
Hennepin County, Minnesota. Subject to Pineview Lane N. over the East 33.00 feet
thereof, and That part of the south 80.00 feet of the east 272.22 feet of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota
lying northerly of the following described line: Commencing at the Southeast corner
of said Southeast Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing of North 0 degrees 37
minutes 11 seconds East along the east line of said Southeast Quarter 30.00 feet to
the actual point of beginning of the line to be herein described; thence North 85
degrees 04 minutes 00 seconds West 113.41 feet; thence Northwesterly 160.93 feet

along a tangential curve to the right concave to the northeast having a radius of
1002.33 feet and a central angle of 9 degrees 11 minutes 57 seconds to the west line
of said east 272.22 feet and there terminating.
Except the East 33.00 feet thereof for road.
Parcel B:
That part of the south 80.00 feet of the east 272.22 feet of the Southeast Quarter
of Section 34, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota lying southerly of
the following described line: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Southeast
Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing of North 0 degrees 37 minutes 11 seconds East
along the east line of said Southeast Quarter 30.00 feet to the actual point of
beginning of the line to be herein described; thence North 85 degrees 04 minutes 00
seconds West 113.41 feet; thence Northwesterly 160.93 feet along a tangential curve
to the right concave to the northeast having a radius of 1002.33 feet and a central
angle of 9 degrees 11 minutes 57 seconds to the west line of said east 272.22 feet
and there terminating.
Except the East 33.00 feet thereof for road.
FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special
assessment corrections based upon City Policy when the division is approved by
Hennepin County.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmemhers Vacilin,tr,
Ricker, Zitur and Sisk . The
following voted against or abstained None Whereupon
the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
