HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-601CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _ regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd day of OctnhPr , 1988. The following members were present: Mayor Schneidgr. Count, ilmPmhPrc vactiiin.. , Ricker. Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: NnTOP Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-601 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF 22ND AVENUE WITHIN PARKERS LAKE NORTH 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of 22nd Avenue with Parkers Lake North 2nd Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for October 3, 1988, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of October 3, 1988; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on October 3, 1988, to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a portion of 22nd Avenue within Parkers Lake North 2nd Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said street right-of-way is no longer needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following street be vacated: Public right-of-way for 22nd Avenue lying west of the east property line of Outlot K extended northerly as shown on the Parkers Lake North 2nd plat of record. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coin ilmP-mhPr Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider.
