HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-594CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the. day of September , 1988. The following members were present: Mayor Schneidouncilmembers Vasillou, Ricker and Zitur The following members were absent: Councilmeiger 91sk Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 88-594 ACCEPT REPORT FROM THE WEST HENNEPIN HUMAN SERVICES ON THE HOUSE DOCTOR PROGRAM WHEREAS, in December, 1986, the City of Plymouth was awarded a $50,000.00 grant from the Minnesota Department of Energy and Economic Development to provide administration of a House Doctor Program in Plymouth, St. Louis Park, and Tonka Bay; and WHEREAS, through the utilization of these funds and funds provided by Minnegasco to implement the program to improve energy conservation for low to moderate income and high consumption homeowners in those three cities through the use of energy audits, education in energy conservation methods and the installation of energy conservation devices; and WHEREAS, work has been completed on a minimum of 50 homes in each of the three communities; and WHEREAS, West Hennepin Human Services has provided a final report describing the scope of services, implementation process and results. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should, and hereby does, accept the report by West Hennepin Human Services for the House Doctor Program. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof: ayor. chneider.
