HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-584CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of September 1988. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou Ricker and Zitur The following members were absent: Councilmember Sisk Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88- 584 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND COACHMAN TRAILS ADDITION (85022) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated July 6, 1987, Oakwood Investments, developer of Coachman Trails (65022), has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; 0 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: Street Construction $ -0- $ -0- Sanitary Sewer 23,250 -0- Watermain 29,373 -0- Storm Sewer -0- -0- Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod -0- -0- Pond or Ditch Construction -0- -0- Street Signs -0- -0- Site Grading and Drainage Improvements -0- -0- Park and Trail Improvements -0- -0- Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts 6,315 _0_ TOTAL $ 58,938 $ -0- That the letter of credit required for the above items be reduced as detailed above from $5,894 to $0 (Zero) to reflect the completed work. Resolution No. 88- 584 Page Two 'FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the bonding requirements for the following items per Section 8.1 of the approved development contract be reduced as follows: I= Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning Cash: $-0- $-0- Letter of Credit: $-0- $-0- The required Letter of Credit for grading and erosion control is hereby reduced from $5,000 to $1,000. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the sanitary sewer and watermain construction is accepted for continual maintenance as of September 13, 1988, subject to the One Year Guarantee by the Developer. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou- Ricker and Zitur , The following voted ageinst or abstained: None _ Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
