HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-580CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of September , 1988. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider- Couneilmembers Ricker, Zitur and Sisk , The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88- 580 REDF.FERRING OF DEFERRED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 83-461 certain special assessments were deferred for a five year period; and WHEREAS, the deferral will expire on December 31, 1988; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the agreement when the improvements were constructed, that the assessment deferral would continue until the property developed and connected to the sanitary sewer; and WHEREAS, as of this time the property is still undeveloped; and WHEREAS, the City Council has now determined that said assessments should be redeferred for an additional five year period. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the assessment as it applies to P.I.N. 14-118-22- 32-0007 as established by Resolution No. 83-461 in the amount of $6,036.73, is redeferred for a five year period beginning January 1, 1989, at the established interest rate of 10.33 percent. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, that if the property is connected to the sanitary sewer system, the deferred assessment shall become payable in full. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by rniincilmPmher Zitnr , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _Mayor S hneider, Councilmemhers Ricker, Zitur , and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
