HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-578CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of September , 1988. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Ricker. Zitur and Sisk , The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88- 578 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 4 AND FINAL CARLSON CENTER 8TH ADDITION PROJECT NO. 751 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Bury and Carlson Construction Company, as contractor, have entered into an agreement for the Carlson Center 8th Addition Improvements, City Project No. 751 said agreement being dated November 20, 1987; and WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptgnce of the work and his approval of the final request for payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $149,569.84 change orders in the amount of $13,400 were approved and the value of the work to date in $149,150.46. 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for the Carlson Center 8th Addition Improvements project and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 4 and Final in the amount of $18,672.75 to Bury 6 Carlson, Inc. for the Carlson Center 8th Addition Improvements project is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
