Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of Septer.,ber
1988. The following members were present: -Mayor Schneider, Councilme%,bers Vasiliou
Ricker- Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88- 535
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
DRAINAGE AND UTf1.ITY EASEMENTS
HERITAGE RIDGE ADDITION - LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK 2
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain utility and drainage easements in
Lots 2 and 3, Block 2, heritage Ridge Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to sEid vacation was scheduled for September 13,
1988, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 112.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of September 13, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on September 13, 1988, to inform any and
all interested parties relevant to the vacation of certain utility and drainage
easements in Lots 2 and 3, Block 2, Heritage Ridge Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following utility and drainage easements be vacated:
The north 6 feet of Lot 2, Block 2 Heritage Ridge Addition, Hennepin County
Minnesota except the west 6 feet and the east 10 feet and the south 6 feet
of Lot 3, Block 2 Heritage Ridge Addition Hennepin County Minnesota except
the west 6 feet and the east 10 feet.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: _ None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
