HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-524IF CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 32nd day of Au ust_, 1988. The following members were present: Mayor Schnei ec3 r�ouncilmembers as iou, Ricker Zitur and Sisk Th-e-7ollowlng members were absent: Rone Mayor Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-524 AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO ENTER AM ORDER WITH RESPECT TO A HAZARDOUS AND DANGEROUS PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1110 KINGSVIEW LANE NORTH WHEREAS, the Building Official of the City of Plymouth has made a written report to the Council relative to the condition of building and property at 1110 Kingsview Lane North, legally described as: Lot 15, Block 2, Suburbandale on Parkers Lake in the City of Plymouth. WHEREAS, in the report the Building Official has recommended that proceedings be commenced for the demolition of the building, removal of all debris and filling of the 10 unexcavated foundation, all pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 463.15 - .261 (1986) and Plymouth City Code Section 2010. WHEREAS, the report has been examined and considered by the Council, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the Mayor and the City Manager be authorized and directed to enter an Order, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 'A" to the owners of the property located at 1110 Kingsview Lane North, City of plymouth, Minnesota, as provided by Minnesota Statutes Section 463.16 and Plymouth City Code Section 2010. 2. That the City Attorney is authorized and directed to cause such Order to be served upon the owners of record of said premises, or their agents, upon any occupants therein and upon all lien holders of record and to proceed with the enforcement of the Order as provided by Minnesota Statutes Section 463.17, Subd. 2 and Plymouth City Code Section 2010. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
