HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-514CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 22nd day of August , 1988. The following members were present: , Manor Schneider_ Councilm_mhers Vaciliou, Ricker, Zitur and Gisk , The following members were absent: None Coin iInewh_r Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-514 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PRFPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT HARRISON HILLS SEWER EXTENSION CITY PROJECT NO. 630 WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: The area south of County Road 10 from approximately 700 feet east of Nathan Lane to approximately 1300 feet west of Nathan Lane. by the installation of sanitary sewer and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $74,625 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $37,628.01, so the total cost of the improvement will be $112,253.01 and of this cost the City will pay $0 (zero) as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed hereby declared to be $112,253.01. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping and storage facilities and sanitary sewer trunk facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning. Water Area Residential $1,340 per acre Sanitary Sewer Area Residential $ 750 per acre 3. The City Clerk with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be special assessed from such improvement against every accessible lot, piece of parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by the law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
