HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-496CITY OF PL1 NOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 15th day of August 1988. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, 6uncilmembers Vasillou, Ricker Zitur and Sisk he following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-496 A RESOLUTION SETTING PUBLIC HEARING FOR 1989-90 CITY BUDGETS FOR TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 1988 WHEREAS, in accordance with state statute, the City Council annually adopts various operating budgets; and WHEREAS, the Council desires to receive information from the public relative to the proposed budgets; and WHEREAS, a public hearing is annually established for the purpose of obtaining such resident input; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, that it should and hereby does establish Tuesday, September 13, 1988 at 8 p.m. as the public hearing date for public review and comment regarding the 1989-90 City Budgets; and FURTHER, does hereby direct the City Clerk to cause public notice of such hearing to be published in the City's official newspaper, the Plymouth Post. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted n favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
