HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-430CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota Was held on the 25th day of July , 1988. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-430 DIRECTING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS TO APPLY FOR PERMIT FROM DNR SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD - ZACHARY LANE TO SARATOGA LANE CITY PROJECT NO. 705 WHEREAS, the City Council has made a negative declaration on the need for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed extension of Schmidt Lake Road between Zachary Lane and Saratoga Lane in accordance with Alternate No. 1; and WHEREAS, before construction of the roadway can be started it will be necessary to obtain a permit from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR); and WHEREAS, in order to apply for the DNR permit Preliminary plans and a current Traffic Needs Report needs to be prepared. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the staff is directed to have the consulting engineer prepare the necessary plans in order to apply for the permit from the Department of Natural Resources for this segment of Schmidt Lake,Road. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Ricker, Zitur and Silk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
