HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-427CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held gqn the 18th day of July , 1988. The following were present: _Matyor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following nw bers were absent: _ None Councilmember Vasiliou intrcktced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0.80-427 ACCEPTING TaWING BIDS FOR YEARS 1988-1991 WHOW.AS, the City of Plymouth has advertised for bids for towing and impounding of vehicles, and WHEREAS, bids were received on July 11, 1988 publicly opened and read aloud, and the following bids were received: Valley Zbwing Service, Inc. $225,142.50 Kelly's Wrecker Service 186,870.00 Dick Hiughes, Inc. 151,051.65 WHEREAS, it appears that Dick Hughes, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFURE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUlii, MNNESMA, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Dick Hughes, Inc. for towing and impounding services for the period August 1, 1988 through July 31, 1991 in the amount of $151,051.65 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk and'upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayer _Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou Ricker Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Feesolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 4 - R R .
