HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-422CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reliular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of July , 1988. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-422 CANCELING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A TRAIL EASEMENT LOT 10, 11, 12, 13 BLOCK 1 OAKWOOD SHORES 2ND ADD. WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, developer of Oakwood Shores 2nd Add. has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following trail easement: That portion of the trail easement which was granted to the Hennepin county Park Reserve District by easement Document No. 1413819 described as follows, which lie within Lots 10, 11, 12 and 13 Block 1 Oakwood Shores 2nd Addition, Hennepin County, Mn. A perpetual easement for multi -use trail purposes over and across: That part of Outiot "A" OAKWOOD SHORES which lies easterly of a line described as Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 3, OAKWOOD SHORES; thence South 89 degrees 01 minutes 58 seconds East along the north line of said Lot 1 a distance of 112.50 feet; thence South 74 degrees 22 minutes 50 seconds East along the northerly line of said Lot 1 a distance of 90.00 feet to the actual point of beginning of the line to be described; thence North 28 degrees 04 minutes 02 seconds East a distance of 107.34 feet; thence North 42 degrees 32 minutes 26 seconds East a distance of 82.42 feet; thence North 50 degrees 26 minutes 49 seconds East a distance of 132.96 feet; thence North 02 degrees 17 minutes 11 second East a distance of 197.04 feet to the north line of said Outlot "A" and there terminating. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found that this easement is part of an easement dedicated to the Hennepin county Park Reserve District; NOW, THEREFORE, BE .IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That a public hearing is not required and does hereby cancel said hearing set for July 18, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _ aggr Schneider.
