HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-419CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of. July , 1988. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker, Zitur and Sisk , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-419 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 5 AND FINAL 1987 UTILITY EXTENSIONS CITY PROJECT NO'S 431, 625, 702, AND 738 WHEREAS, the City of Plymout, as owner, and C.S. McCrossan, Inc., as contractor, have entered into an agreement for the 1987 Utility Extensions, City Project No's 431, 625, 702 and 738, said agreement being dated May 1, 1987; and WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $110,568.30, one change order was approved in the amount of $10,870, and the value of the work to date is $115,529. 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for the 1987 Utility Extensions Project and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 5 and Final in the amount of $16,968.59 to C.S. McCrossan Construction, Inc. for the 1987 Utility Extensions Project is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
