HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-417CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of July , 1988. -The following members were present: , _Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker, Zitur and Sisk , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88- 417 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT CITY PROJECT NO. 648 S J GROVES OFFICE PARK AREA, PHASE I WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on June 27, 1988, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: County Road 18 and Highway 55 frontage road, 13th Avenue and County Road 18 frontage roads intersection. by the installation of sanitary newer forcemain bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, traffic signals and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed• in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 15th day of August, 1988, in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Counciimember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: __Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zi;,ir and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
