Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of June ,
•1988. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou ,
Ricker Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88- 372
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
1988 SEAL COAT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1988 Seal Coat Program; and
WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following
bids were received complying with the advertisement:
Allied Blacktop Company $ 99,174.04
Bituminous Roadways 105,942.60
Astech Corporation 111,534.02
WHEREAS, it appears that Allied Blacktop Company is the lowest responsible bidder;

NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Allied Blacktop Company in the name of
the City of Plymouth for the 1988 Seal Coat Program in the amount of
the low bid of $99,174.04.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou- Ricker. Zitur and Sisk ,-
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed.and adopted.
