Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a SDOCial meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of
June , 1988. The following members were present:
Mayor Schneider, CouncilyMftrs Vasiliou. Ricker. Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88-371
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 9 AND FINAL
S J GROVES -OFFICE PARK AREA PHASE I,
PROJECT NO. 648
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Bury and Carlson Construction
Compae.y, as contractor, have entered into an agreement for the S J Groves
Office Park Area Phase I Improvements, City Project No. 648, and said
agreement being dated April 28, 1987; -and
WHEREAS, the Engineer, has certified his acceptance of the work and his
approval of the final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE.- BE' IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $8!15,117.71, change
orders in � the amount of $8.681.00 were approved and the
value of the work to date is $848,481.04.
2. That the work performed by the Contractor for the S J Groves
Office Park Area Phase I Improvements Project and certified
to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the
same, is hereby relgased from the contract except as to the
conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights
of the owner. required guarantees and correction of faulty
work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 9 and Final in the 'amount of
$37,725.87 to Bury 4 Carlson, Inc. for the S J Groves Office
Park Area - Phase I Improvements Project is hereby approved
and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and
directed to.pay the same forthwith.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Caunrila.•shar 7itur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Couneilmnahers V silinu,Rte, ,
Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
