HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-370CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a sperinl meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of June , 1988. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker. Zitur and Sisk , The following members were absent: None rm%nrilmP.mhPr Sick introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: - RESOLUTION NO. 88-370 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT CITY PROJECT NO. 648 S J GROVES OFFICE PARK AREA - PHASE I WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: County Road 18 and Highway 55 frontage road, 13th Avenue and County Road 18 frontage roads intersection. by the installation of sanitary sewer forcemain bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, traffic signals and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $848,481. and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $150,782, so the total cost of the improvement will be $999,263. and of this cost the City will pay $846,803. as its share of the cost; NOW,. THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $152,460. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was.duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur—, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
