Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of
June '1988. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker- Zitur and Sisk ,
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88- 369
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
CITY PROJECT NO. 544
FERNBROOK LANE - NORTH OF COUNTY ROAD 9
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of:
Fernbrook Lane - North of County Road 9
by the installation of sanitary sewer and watermain laterals, storm sewer,
bituminous-- street with concrete curb and gutter, and. all necessary
appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $720,113. -and
the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement
amount to $217,051., so the total cost of the improvement will be $937,164.
and of this cost the City will pay $335,649. as its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially asvessed is hereby
declared to be $601,515.
2. It ii further determined that the following charges for water trunk
.main, pumping and storage facilities and sanitary sewer trunk
facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the
existing land use zoning.
Water Area Residential $1,340 per acre
Sanitary Sewer Area Residential $ 750 per acre
3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall
forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for
such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of
land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation,
as provided by law, and the Clerk- shall file a copy of such
proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public
inspection.
4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment,
notify the Council thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou. ,
Ricker. Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: None
-Whereupon the Resolution was declared -duly passed and adopted.
