HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-361CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a __regular _ meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of June , 1988. The following members were present: The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-361 ADOPTION OF POLICY RELATING TO THE PROCEDURES FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PRaJECTS WHEREAS, the City Council directed the preparation of written procedures to assure that expenditures for improvement project costs are properly controlled and monitored; and WHEREAS, the Council is also desirious of assuring that all unfinanced improvmamment projects are reviewed annually to determine the method of financing to be utilized; and WHEREAS, to accamplish these objectives the city staff in cooperation with the city's auditors has prepared a written policy relating to the procedures for public improvement projects, and W WAS, the auditing firm of Seifert, Betts and Co., LTD. has recommended revision to the policy; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the revised policy; NOW, THEREFORE-, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the Policy RelaAng to the Procedures for Public Improvement Projects dated June 20, 1988 is hereby approved. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zituand upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker. Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
