HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-360CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of June . , 1986. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker. Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None _Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-360 ENDORSEMENT OF BRIAN LIESCH HENNEPIN COUNTY GROUND WATER ADVISORY COMMITTEE WHEREAS, the State Legislature has adopted a law authorizing counties to undertake planning for the protection of ground water resources; and WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Board has designated the Hennepin Conservation District to undertake this ground water planning; and WHEREAS, there is to be an Advisory Committee to. assist and advise the Hennepin Conservation District in the preparation of the ground water plan; and WHEREAS, Brian Liesch of BA Liesch and Assoodates is very knowledgeable with regard to ground water and the City of Plymouth's Municipal water supply. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City Council endorses the appointment of Brian Liesch to the Hennepin Ground Water Advisory Committee. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker Zituranti Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon -the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
