HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-330CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of June 1988. The following members were present: Deputy Mayor Sisk, Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker and Zitur The following members were absent: Mayor Schneider ['ounci_t_member Vasi_liou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION.NO. 88-330 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID 22ND AVENUE STREET 6 UTILITIES PROJECT NO. 813 WOOD CREEK STORM SEWER PROJECT NO. 660 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of 22nd Ave. west of Vicksburg Lane by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer and Class 5 aggregate base and Wood Creek Addition by the installation of storm drainage improvements and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tablulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Northdale Construction $ 192,463.65 Nodland Construction Co. 213,478.50 G. L. Construction, Inc. 231,013.16 Barbarossa 6 Sons 233,140.00 Burschville Constuction 232,661.27 F. F. Jedlicki, Inc. 234,615.00 B 6 D Underground 237,529.03 Dave Perkins Construction 237,697.00 0 & P Contracting 303,366.60 WHEREAS, it appears that Northdale Construction of Rogers, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Northdale Construction of Rogers, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the improvement of 22nd Ave. and Wood Creek Addition Project Nos. 813 and 660 according to the_plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low bid of $192,463.65. Resolution No. 88- 330 Page 2 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Sisk, Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker and Zitur , The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
