HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-326CITY OF PLYMOUTH v Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of June , 1988. The following members were present: , Deputy Mayor Sisk, Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker and Zitur , The following members were absent: Mayor Schneider Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-326 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 1G AND FINAL FERNBROOK LANE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 544 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Anderson Brothers Construction Company, as contractor, have entered into an agreement for the Fernbrook Lane Improvements, City Project No. 544; and said agreement being dated December 15, 1986; and WHEREAS,. the Engineer, has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $673,218.45 change orders in the amount of $123,611.05 were approved and the value of the work to date is $805,338.21. 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for the Fernbrook Lane Improvement Project and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 10 and Final in the amount of $67,821.76 to Anderson Brothers Construction Company for the Fernbrook Lane Project is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was du Py seconded by Councilmemher Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mnynr Sisk, Cnuncilmemhers Vasiliou` , Ricker and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
