HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-304CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota-, was held on the 6th day of June , 1988.- The following members were present:_ Deputy May 3�'s cT, Councilme ers as ou, Ric cer and Zitur The following members were absent: None Councilmemer Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: - RESOLUTION NO. 88-304 APPROVING LAND USE GUIDE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR MARCUS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (88022) WHEREAS, Marcus Development Corporation has requested reclassification of Land Use Guiding, from CS (service business) to CN (neighborhood shopping center)for property located at the northeast corner of West Medicine Lake Drive and Highway 55; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the request following a duly scheduled public hearing and has recommended approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the reclassification of land use guiding fpr Marcus Development Corporation for a property located at the northeast corner of West Medicine Lake Drive and Highway 55, from CS (service business) to CN (neighborhood shopping center) classification, consistent with Resolution No. 87-555 that.approved the Land Use Guide Plan for the adjacent property, and in accordance with Exhibit 88022; FURTHER, Approval of the Land Use Guide Plan Amendment is contingent upon, and subject to the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council; the Development Contract shall be executed and the Building Permit shall be issued with all fees paid prior to September 1, 1988, or this Resolution will be void and the Regulding will not take place; FURTHER, There shall be 'no extension of this deadline. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the Poll g voted -in favor thereoDeputy Mayor Sisk, Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker voted against or abstained: None , Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
