Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of June
1988.' The following members were present: Deputy Mayor Sisk, Councilmembers Vasiliou,
Ricker and Zitur
The following members were absent: mayor Schneider
Council ember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88- 303
AUTHORIZING.THE VACATION OF
DRAINAGE EASEMENTS FOR PONDING PURPOSES IN
LOT 2 BLOCK 1 GROVES OFFICE PARK
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a certain drainage easement for ponding
purposes in Groves Office Park; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for June 6, 1988,
in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of June 6, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public -hearing on June 6, 1988, to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of a certain drainage easement for ponding
purposes in Groves Office Park; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: :that the following drainage easement for ponding purposes be -vacated:
That portion. of the drainage easement for ponding purposes which was
dedicated on the recorded plat of Groves Office Park being that part of the
west 80 feet of Lot 2, Block 1, Groves Office Park, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, lying south of the north 594.94 feet of said Lot 2.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ricker and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Sisk, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
