RESOLUTION NO. 88-249
REJECTION OF TOWING BIDS
WHEREAS. the City of Plymouth reqularly enters into a towina contract on a three-year
basis as Provided by City code: and
WHEREAS. the current contract expires April 30. 1988: and
WHEREAS. the three bids that were received may not reflect the best interest of. the
Citv of Plvmouth durino a three-vear contract:
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT HEREBY'RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH.
MINNESOTA:. to resect aII-towing bids and hereby direct- the finance Director to re -

_ BE IT- FURTHER RESOLVED THAT an extension of the current contract with Valley Towing be
Implemented for a period not longer than ninetv (90) days.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
may.0y Srhr der and upon vote being taken thereon. the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Schneider, rnnncilmem6ere 2itur and Sisk
The foilowing voted against or abstained: ,Counr;lmembers Ricker and Vasiliou
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly Passed and adopted.
