Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reqular� meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of �A rail , 1988.
The following members were present: Mayor Schnei erg , Zouncilmember— s Vasil fou,
Ricker Zitur and Sisk
Tfi-e-7ollowlng members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88-231
ORDERING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT
PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 469
WHEREAS, the City Manager, in a report dated April 4, 1988, recommended that the City
Council consider establishing Economic Development Tax Increment Financing District
No. 3-3; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on April 4, 1988, reviewed the City Manager's report and
noted that the creation of such a tax increment financing district would assist in
achieving certain public objectives; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that an essential first step in the
establishment of proposed Tax Increment Financing District 3-3 requires modification of
the development program for Municipal Development District No. 3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
that the City Council shall meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 18, 1988 for the purpose of
conducting a public hearing on the modification of the Development Program for
Municipal Development District No. 3 and the establishment of a Tax Increment Financing
District No. 3-3 pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 469; and
FURTHER, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice of
said hearing in substantially the form of Lhe notice attached hereto as Exhibit A.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted In favor thereof: ayor, hneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou,
Ricker Zitur and Sisk

CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday,
April 18, 1988
In the Council Chambers in the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, to conduct a public hearing on the
modification o' the Development Program for Municipal Development District
No. 3, establishment of an Economic Development Tax Increment Financing
District No. 3-3 (TIF District), and the approval of a Tax Increment
Financing Plan for the TIF District. The TIF District is proposed, to be
located within Development District No. 3.

The modification of the Development Program, TIF Plan and the TIF District
are proposed to be approved, established, and adopted pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 469.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Draft copies of the Development Program for the Development District and the
TIF Plan will be available for public inspection in the office of the City
Clerk after April 4 during normal City business hours.
Any person wishing to express a view concerning the Development Program or
the proposed TIF Plan, will be heard orally or in writing at the public
hearing.
