HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-200CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant -to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of March , 1988. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmemher Ricker introduced.the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88- 200 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 4 AND FINAL CLEANING, REPAIRING AND PAINTING PLANT WATER TOWER WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Tenyer Coatings, Inc. as contractor, have entered into an agreement for cleaning, repairing and painting of the plant water tower, said agreement being dated March 10, 1987 and WHEREAS, the Engineer, AEC, Inc. has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That, the original contract amount was $167,480.00, one change order in the amount of $9,980.00 was approved and the value of the work to date is $177,460.00.. 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for cleaning, repairing and painting of the plant water tower and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal , rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 4 and' Final in the amount of $18,354.00 to Tenyer Coating, Inc. for cleaning, repairing and painting of the plant water tower is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken -thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider..Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
