Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of
March , 1988. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker. Zitur and Sisk ,
The following members were absent: None
Cminrilmemher Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88-198
AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
FINAL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION PLANS
T.H. 494 FROM CARLSON PARKWAY TO T.H. 55
STATE PROJECT NO. SP2785-8806
CITY PROJECT NO. 250
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and the Minnesota Department of Transportation
have entered into an agreement for engineering services for the preparation of
final design and construction plans for the pavement replacement on T.H. 494
from Carlson Parkway to T.H. 55; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Plymouth to designate a consulting
engineer to perform the engineering design for the City of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc. is the consulting engineering firm for the
City of Plymouth performing the design for the County Road 6/I-494
interchange; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the agreement between the Minnesota Department of
Transportation and the City of Plymouth is that the same consulting
engineering firm can design and coordinate the design of both projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc. is authorized to act on
behalf of the City of Plymouth and perform all necessary services which are
required by the City of Plymouth in the agreement with the Minnesota
Department of Transportation.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: . Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker,
Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
