Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of
Marrh , 1988. The following members wereresent:
Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur andpSisk '
The following members were absent: None
Cnuncilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88- 197
AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
FINAL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION PLANS
T.H. 494 FROM CARLSON PARKWAY TO T.H. 55
STATE PROJECT NO. SP2785-8806
CITY PROJECT NO. 250
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is proposing to construct an interchange on
County Road 6 at I-494; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is proposing to
reconstruct the pavement on I-494 between Carlson Parkway and Highway 55; and
WHEREAS, it is beneficial to both MnDOT and the City to have the same
consulting engineer prepare the final design and construction plans for both
projects; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has prepared an agreement
for the City to act on behalf of MnDOT for the design of the pavement
replacement on I-494.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to enter
into a Consultant Services Agreement with the Minnesota Department of
Transportation for the preparation of final design and construction plans for
T.H. 494 from Carlson Parkway to T.H. 55.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by

voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker,

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
