HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-156CITY OF PLVNOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 77-tW_ day of March , 1988. The following members were present: Mayor Schnee drier, Councilmen ergs Vasiliou,--Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilow her Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its ax-loptlon: RESOLUTION NO. 88-156 APPROVING LAND USE GUIDE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR HANS HAGEN, HANS HAGEN HOMES (87124) WHEREAS, Hans Hagen, Hans Hagen Homes, has requested approval for a Land Use Guide Plan Amendment and Planned Unit Development Concept Plan to reclassify approximately 15.18 acres located northeast of Harbor Lane and Gleason Lake Drive from LA -1 (low density residential) to LA -2 (low medium density re31dentfal) classification; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the request following a duly scheduled public hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the reclassification of the Land Use Guide Plan classification for Hans Hagen, Hans Hagen Homes for the approximate 15.18 acres located northeast of Harbor Lane and Gleason Lake Drive from LA -1 (low density residential) to LA -2 (low medium density residential), based on the findings that: I. The guiding is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan; 2. The guiding will not have a.negative Ympact upon the City's ststems. FURTHER, Approval of the Land Use Guide Plan Amendment is contingent upon, and subject to the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council, and is subject to the following conditions: 1. Subsequent to the review and response by the Metropolitan Council, the Final Plan/ Plat and rezoning shall be approved by the City Council prior to finalization of the Amendment. tP 2. A Development Contract shall be executed and the Final Plat shall be filed with all fees paid, prior to December 31, 1988, or this Resolution will be void and the reguiding will not take place. Further, there shall be no extension of this deadline. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the folloWlng voted In favor t ereot: ___ftor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou Ricker Zitur and Sisk The following voted aga nst or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly P433ed and adopted.
