HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-143CITY OF PLVMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 7th day of March , 1988. The following members were present: Ma or Schneider r-uncilmembers Vasiliou Ricer Zitur and Sisk The Yollowing me ers were absent: None Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adopt on: RESOLUTION NO. 88-143 DENYING PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT AND LOT DIVISION FOR DANIEL AND DEE MERTES (87129) WHEREAS, Daniel and Dee Mertes have requested approval for a. Planned Unit Development Amendment and Lot Division to create one additional lot in the Mission Hills Park 8th Addition RPUD 81-3, on property located at 11400 42nd Avenue North; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends denial; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny the Planned Unit Development Amendment and Lot Division for Daniel and Dee Mertes, based on the following: 1. The Division is not consistent with the approved Planned Unit Development nor with the character of lots in the area. 2. The Planned Unit Development Attributes are not evident and the net open space would be diminished. 3. The density would exceed the maximum for this area. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ma or Schnelder Councilmembers Vasiliou Ricker Zitur and Sisk e following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
