HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-129CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 22nd _ day of February .1988. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker. Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Cminnilmpniher Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-129 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR 1987 REMOVAL AND DESTRUCTION OF DISEASED TREES, ROLL 2 WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of Section 18.271 M.S.A., the City Forester of the City of Plymouth has caused the destruction and removal of diseased trees on certain lands within said City, and a determination has been made that certain charges thereto have not been paid as provided by law, and the total amount of such work amounts to $1,913.75. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such assessment to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $1,913.75. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Forester, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coin ilm-mber Zitur . and upon vote being taken thereon, the fallowing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schn,.ider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker Zitur and The following voted against or abstained: None Sisk Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
