Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the �st day of February, 1988.
The following members were present: Mayor SchnCouncilme ers as ou,
Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88-90
ORDERING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT PURSUANT TO
MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 469
WHEREAS, the City Manager, in a report dated Oanuary 25, 1988, recommended that the
City Council consider establishing Economic Development Tax Increment Financing
District No. 1-5; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on February 1, 1988, reviewed the City Manager's report and
noted that the creation of such a tax increment financing district would assist in
achieving certain public objectives; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that an essential first step in the
establishment of proposed Tax Increment Financing District 1-5 requires modification of
the development program for Municipal Development District No. 1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
that the City Council shall meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 7, 1988 for the purpose of
conducting a public hearing on the modif►cation of the Development Program for
Municipal Development District No. 1 and the establishment of a Tax Increment Financing
District No. 1-5 pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 469; and
FURTHER, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice of
said hearing in substantially the form of the notice attached hereto as Exhibit A.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Counclimember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the

Ricker, Zitur and Sisk

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday,
March 7, 1988
in the Council Chambers in the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, to conduct a public hearing on the
modification of the Develotmment Program for Municipal Development District
No. 1, establishment of an Economic Development Tax Increment Financing
District No. 1-5 (TIF District), and the approval. of a Tax Increment
Financing Plan for the TIF District. The TIF District is proposed to be
located within Development District No. 1.
The legal description of property in the proposed TIF District is Lot 1,
Block 1, Metro Industrial Park generally located at 28th Avenue North and
Ranchview Lane.
The modification of the Development Program, TIF Plan and the TIF District
are proposed to be approved, established, and adopted pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 469.
Draft copies of the Development Program for the Development District and the
TIF Plan will be available for public inspection in the office of the City
Clerk after February 15 during normal City business hours.
Any person wishing to express a view concerning the Development Proqram or
the proposed TIF Plan, will be heard orally or in writing at the public
hearing.
