HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-072CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the pity of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 25th day of January , 1988. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None .o ncilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-72 APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE PUBLIC FACILITIES FUND WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has been planning for a Public Safety Building and a Community Center, and WHEREAS, additional funds are deemed necessary to finance these projects, and WHEREAS, the City has funds available within the General Fund, and WHEREAS, it is sound financial management to transfer the funds totaling $450,000 to the proper fund for accounting control purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the transfers in the amount of $450,000 be transferred from the General Fund to the Public Facilities Fund for the 1987 accounting year. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk _ , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, TW following voted against or abstained: None _ Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and ,adopted.
