HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1988-045CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special�. meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of 3anuarx 1988. The following members were present: Mayor Schnel ea'r�ouncIIme ers Vasillou, Ricker, Zitur and -Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk Introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 88-45 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH AND PLYMOUTH PARK, SEWER AND WATER, STREET AND EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES REPRESENTED BY THE AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES COUNCIL 14 (AFSCME) FOR 1988-1990 WHEREAS, in accordance with the Minnii.ota Public Employee Labor Relations Act, the City Is required to meet to negotiage wages and conditions of employment with the exclusive employee representative representing Plymouth maintenance employees; and WHEREAS, in a report dated January 7, 1988, the City Manager has outlined the terms of the settlement which has been agreed to by both parties, pursuant to such negotiations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does, authorize the execution of a 1988-1990 Labor Agreement between the City of Plymouth and Plymouth Park, Sewer and Water, Street and Equipment Maintenance employees represented by the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Emplo, :es Council 14 for 1988 through 1990, as set forth in the staff memorandum dated January 7, 1988. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof: ayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The rollowing voteH against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopte
