Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota; was held on the 4th day of January , 19 88.
The following members were present: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou, —
�Rin4 ,Zitur and Sisk
the following members were absent: None
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 88-36
AUTHORIZING WAGE AND INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION REVISIONS FOR
CALENDAR YEAR 1988 FOR PLYMOUTH POLICE OFFICERS AND INVESTIGATORS
WHEREAS, under the. Public .Employee Labor Relations Law, the City is obliged to
negotiate wages and conditions of employment with employees represented by an exclusive
representative; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has met to negotiate with Law Enforcement Labor Services,
Local 18, representing Plymouth Police Officers and Investigators; and
WHEREAS, negotiations for calendar year 1988 have yielded agreement for wages and
hospital, medical, surgical and dental insurance contributions for calendar year 1988
In accordance with the January 1, 1986 through December 31, 1988 labor agreement
between the City of Plymouth and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Local 18.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does, approve Addendum 1, dated 12/28/87 of the
labor agreement between the City of Plymouth and Law Enforcement Labor Services,
Local 18, dated January 1, 1966 through December 31, 1988.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by

ADDENDUM I
ADDENDUM TO THE 1986-1988 LABOR AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH AND
LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES,
INC., LOCAL 18'
I. This addendum specifically and exclusively sets forth EMPLOYER
contributions for Hospital/Medical/Surgical and Dental insurance for
calendar year 1988 and wages for calendar year 1988 pursuant to
Article XXII, Section 22.6 of the 1986-1988 Labor Aqreement between
the City of Plymouth and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc.,
Local 18, January 1, 1986 through December 31, 1988. All other terms
and conditions of said agreement shall remain in full force and
effect.
Il. Article XV Insurance, Section 15.1 is amended by deletion of the
following sentence:In 1988 the EMPLOYER will pay a sum which shall
be established pursuant to reopened negotiations in the manner set
forth in Article 22.6."
III. Article XV Insurance, Section 15.1 is amended by the addition of the
following sentence at the end of the first paragraph: "In 1986 the
EMPLOYER will pay a sum not to exceed $54.00 per month for coverage
of the Employee and a sum not to exceed $108.00 per month for
coverage of the Employee's eligible dependents."
IV. Article XV Insurance, Section 15.3 is amended by deletion of the
following sentence:"IIn 1988 the EMPLOYER will pay a sum which shall
be established pursuant to reopened negotiations in the manner set
forth in Article 22.6."
V. Article XV Insurance, Section 15.3 is amended by the addition of the
following sentence at to end of the second to the last paragraph:
11$15.00 per month for coverage of the Employee and a sum not to
exceed $18.00 per month for coverage of the Employee's eligible
dependents."
VI. Appendix "A" is amended by the addition of the following:
"The following wage rates shall be effective with the pay period
commencing nearest to January 1, 1988 and shall remain in effect for
the duration of this agreement.

VII. This addendum shall be in full force and effect beginning the pay
period closest to January 1, 1988.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF THIS AGREEMENT IS EXECUTED BETWEEN THE TWO PARTIES ON THE
OF DECEMBER, 1987.
