HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1987-836CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the loth day of December 1987. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasilioy 7i ,r, Crain and Sisk The following members were absent: None Ott trf *** Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 87-810 ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAYS WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of Plymouth, Minnesota that the Street hereinafter described should be designated a Municipal State Aid street under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1467, Chapter 162: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, COUNTY OF HENNEPIN, that the road described as follows, to -wit; Gleason Lake Drive from Vicksburg Lane to Carlson Parkway be, and hereby is established, located, and designated a Municipal State Aid Street of said City subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Highways of the State of . Minnesota, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed forthwith to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Highways for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said road or portion thereof, that the same be constructed, improved and maintained as a Municipal State Aid Street of the City of Plymouth, to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid Street. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow}'n voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur, Crain and Sgisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
